Nice interior design, Spacious, distinctive heritage luxury with traditional Lao teak interiors and colonial era furnishings. Small outdoor landscape with balcony on views of the tranquil Nam Khan River view. Comfortable bed and have an amenities gifts.
Food:
Enjoyed breakfasts each morning in their dining room with French doors that open to the quiet street and the view of the river beyond.
Service:
The staff to be friendly serviced and helpful. If you are looking for charming French colonial hotel, look no further.See more

‘Mother daughter trip of a lifetime’

The Burasari Heritage is a fabulous French colonial style hotel that provided us an exceptional 7⭐ star service. Arriving in their vintage Mercedes Benz (we love it!) to a welcoming staff and welcome drinks. We had the 6 day package getaway which provided us with a list of every day activities, The cooking class (with Noy and Sorng) was a great experience for me and my daughter, we finish eating our meals at the *Terrace over looking at the *Mekon river. Breakfast was impressive with a choice of the dish of the day (local food) and assorted pastries (the croissants was to die for). I loved having dinner at the hotel restaurant, I enjoyed their food better. Love their happy hour. Alms giving ceremony was a very beautiful experience. The sunset cruise was beautiful, very romantic for couples, we had endless snacks and Laos Beer. The rooms were impeccably presented, they even cleaned twice a day. I loved the shower, I read reviews before going about the showers but I didn’t experience the uncomfortable darkness they mention, it had a light, enough for me to see and I loved being in there, it was unique. I do regret not taking one of those coconut lotions from the toiletrie bag provided in the room, the aroma is still in my mind. There is a free minibar with an every day refill that we really appreciated. There is so much I would love to share of my experience at the Burasari hotel that this site wouldn’t be enough. I want to thank everyone there, I sent another review with all the names but i now can’t remember but I’ll try, Te, Bee, Zack, Sorng, gosh I wish I can remember but all of you went the extra mile to help us have the best time ever. We will definitely go there soon and already have family members planning a trip there.

The Burasari Spa deserves it’s own review. Just to resume here, I never visited a spa so full of details. Definitely one of the best in south east AsiaSee more

‘Service like no other!!’

Exceptional in all areas! Burasari Heritage team are one of the best! They will do whatever it takes to make your stay a memorable one! And I am not even exaggerating! I was in Luang Prabang during the low season. The team still made all efforts to meet my requests. They had to set up a cooking class even if I was the only one who arrange for it on one particular day. As one of the staff said, ” We have to make the guest happy no matter what”. They could have just informed me to book the cooking class on some other day with the rest of the guests but they did it all for me as not to spoil the itinerary I already had in mind. It was a private cooking class for me! The staff here are not just doing their job, they are very passionate about it! In just a matter of few days everyone knew what I’d like to have for breakfast, the specific table I prefer (across the river) which they have already named after me ;), they treat you like family!! I definitely have a home already whenever I visit Luang Prabang. I won’t commend a single person as the whole team is a gem!! They are equally exceptional! Location is great everything is walking distance, Kuang Si falls is about 45mins drive, night market is 10mins walk, cafes and restaurants are a stone throw away. Very clean and spacious rooms and en suite. Toiletries provided consist of coconut, smells good and feels good, I want to bring them home!! I highly recommend this place if it is still not obvious 🙂 I myself is working in the hospitality industry and not easily impressed. That is a very concrete reference of how perfect this place is!See more

‘Perfect base for a slowpaced holiday in Luang Prabang’

Burasari Heritage is a perfect location by the river to explore the historic Luang Prabang Village by foot or by bicycle which you can borrow from the Hotel. Very friendly service, we recommend to take the cooking class which the Hotel organizes by the river and to wake up one morning to do the alms giving to the Monks on the Main Street. We loved our room with balcony to the river, with a lot of wood in decoration. Food at the Restaurant ’Terrace’ was good, we dined in when it was a heavy rain one evening, good wine selection. Altogether, Luang Prabang is a great destination for a slow paced weekend trip.See more

‘Old mercedes’

The Burasari Heritage is a great little gem, close to the main street of Luang Prabang. Fantastic old style charm and great service. Balcony rooms are worth the extra charge, happy hour drinks were great, super friendly staff and a nice ride back to the airport in an old black Mercedes Benz. We will be back. Justin and Kellie
